Sonoma Valley Museum of Art (SVMA) invites guests to attend this seminar as Ann Wiklund leads this small-group seminar, which examines the full range of Roger Shimomura’s paintings and lithographs dealing with his family’s incarceration at Minidoka, Idaho during World War II. Shimomura has said, “I created the Minidoka series to commemorate this reprehensible period in the nation’s history and to share its lessons with a new generation of Americans.” Seminar participants should pick up their copy of the book, Shadows of Minidoka at the Museum upon registering. The book is included in the price of the seminar.
