Depot Hotel Cooking Class: Classic Provencal Dinner
For this class, here are some of our favorite dishes from the region that are delicious Provencal classics... Our first dish is a savory and fragrant soup is a Nicoise-style crab soup. For our second course, we are going to make a spicy pasta that shows the close connection between Provence and Italy. For a main course we are going make a “casserole” elevated to high art. Following the casserole will be a French salad with a delicate tarragon dressing. Finally for dessert, we are going to make a delicate lemon tart, scented with lavender.
