International opera star Stephanie Blythe has garnered legions of fans with her rich, sumptuous voice. In 2009, she was named Musical America's "Vocalist of the Year." She appears regularly in title rolls with the Metropolitan Opera as well as in concert with many of the world's leading orchestras. This evening's unique program features songs made famous by Kate Smith, the American "Songbird of the South" whose music helped lift spirits during the Great Depression and World War II.
